Remember the time before the internet age, when children spent their afternoons playing different street games until the sun went down? If you remember games like Langit Lupa, Agawan Base, Tumbang Preso, etc, there’s one thing that I know you know: both our backs are hurting, and we miss how fun those times were, playing those games with friends on a lazy afternoon.
But what if I told you that a game studio in the Philippines transformed our beloved street games into a digital version that all your friends can play online and in an office setting?
Let me introduce you to Langit Lupa: Office Wars by NinetySix Studios.

Last year, I’ve had the opportunity to play their demo and interview with Kendrick and Genevieve Miche (GM) Villaruel, the husband-and-wife duo who founded NinetySix Studios. This weekend, we’ll experience new and exciting things from this fun game as the team will showcase the latest updates and upgrades of Langit Lupa: Office Wars at ALT+TAB Festival at SMX Convention Center from June 20 – 21, 2026!

Experience the fun, chaos, and rage with different power-ups to win against your colleagues! And of course, it won’t be fun until you yeet them out of the office!

You can also check out several games made by our own Filipino game devs, like Vi 3v3 Arena by Gridlock-Games, Balete City by Studio Enero, and other indie games! There’s also a chance to meet different cosplayers, check out exhibits, or participate in talks from global speakers, as this event celebrates the future of Filipino Creativity.

So if you haven’t bought your tickets yet, go to ALT+TAB’s website to buy your tickets and see you there!
